Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) is an ambitious greenfield industrial metropolis situated approximately 100 kilometers south-west of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Established under the visionary Special Investment Region Act 2009 by the Gujarat State Legislature, Dholera benefits from full legal and institutional sovereignty.
The project is governed and executed by Dholera Industrial City Development Limited (DICDL), a premier joint venture between the Government of India (National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust - NICDIT) and the Government of Gujarat (Dholera Special Investment Region Development Authority - DSIRDA).
